In designing structures on sand the designers have to solve complex issues such as modularity, disassembly and removability. In Desigon this aim was achieved by combining simplified beach furniture with a clever modular system based on the hexagonal shape. Five elements of beach furniture were reinterpreted: the empty space, the platform, the deck, the bench, and the pergola. The simple use of materials and construction systems used combined with the clean lines and equal proportions makes each piece of Desigon fit perfectly together. Viero is a modular system consisting of four totems each formed of three pre-assembled pieces. Each totem has a dual function: if positioned vertically it is a wide seat containing an intimate space inside where as if placed horizontally the totem becomes a chaise longue with a seat revealed beneath the base. Viero can be configured in many formations. The four totems can be placed horizontally, forming a closed centre from the bases with four chaise longue on the sides
La progettazione di strutture su sabbia ha imposto ai progettisti vincoli complessi come la modularità, la smontabilità e la rimovibilità. Desigon fonde la semplificazione dell’arredo balneare alla complessità della composizione modulare basata sulla figura esagonale. Sono stati reinterpretati cinque elementi di arredo: lo spazio vuoto, la pedana, la sdraio, la panca e la pergola. L’omogeneità dei materiali e dei sistemi costruttivi impiegati, la pulizia delle linee e l’attenta riflessione sulle proporzioni, rendono ogni elemento di Desigon facilmente accostabile agli altri. Viero è un sistema modulare costituito da quattro totem formati da tre elementi preassemblati. Ogni totem gode di una duplice funzione: posizionato verticalmente si presenta come un’ampia seduta mentre orizzontalmente ogni totem diventa una chaise longue .Viero ha molteplici configurazioni. I quattro totem possono essere disposti orizzontalmente, formando uno spazio chiuso centrale e quattro chaise longue sui lati.
