The photographic exhibition investigates the relationship between architecture and landscape. The selected images represent some of the most meaningful alpine architectures, above all those realized by three swiss architects: Ruch & Partner Architekten (St. Moritz), Bearth & Deplazes Architekten (Chur/Zurich), Miller & Maranta Architekten (Basel). Every building is presented by two images printed in big format that deal with the double relationship that built spaces establish with the natural landscape. The first picture represents the projects within their physical context and expresses the relationship that architecture has with the alpine environment. The second image instead shows an inner space, where architecture seems to be designed around the natural landscape, that becomes the main character of these spaces.
La mostra fotografica, promossa da Campomarzio in collaborazione con l’Ordine degli Architetti PPC della Provincia di Trento indaga il rapporto tra architettura e paesaggio. Le fotografie selezionate ritraggono alcune delle più significative architetture alpine, in particolar modo quelle realizzate da tre affermati studi svizzeri: Ruch & Partner Architekten (St. Moritz), Bearth & Deplazes Architekten (Coira/Zurigo), Miller & Maranta Architekten (Basilea). Ogni opera è presentata attraverso due scatti fotografici riprodotti in grande formato, che raccontano del duplice confronto che gli spazi costruiti instaurano con il paesaggio naturale. La prima fotografia raffigura infatti i progetti nel loro contesto fisico ambientale ed esprime la relazione che l’architettura ha con il territorio alpino nel quale è inserita. La seconda fotografia rappresenta invece un ambiente interno, dove l’architettura pare costruita attorno al paesaggio stesso, che diventa protagonista di questi spazi.
